Meet Kate, a self-motivated Dog Trainer with a passion for all things canine! Kate took the brave step into self-employment in May 2022. Chase Canines, now thriving for over 18 months, aligns perfectly with her passion for dog rescue. Kate's mission? To help dogs thrive in their homes and prevent them from returning to rescue centres. She finds joy in offering simple, effective solutions to improve the lives of dogs and their owners.
Kate's qualifications are a testament to her dedication. She holds IMDT Level 4 and 3 certifications and is currently pursuing her Level 5. Additionally, she's a Reactive Rascals instructor for DTC and is on her way to becoming an IMDT tracking instructor.

Her educational background is complemented by a Level 2 in Animal Care and several courses in aggression and reactivity. Specialising in reactivity, Kate has a 'soft spot' for dogs that lunge and enjoys working with aggression cases, multi-dog households, and dog-human reactivity. She's also skilled in teaching foundational skills like loose lead walking, recall, and obedience.
Kate's personal life is deeply intertwined with her professional passion. She shares her home with two dogs: Bramble, a 7-year-old Dutch herder, and Codie, a 3-year-old rescue German Shepherd Dog. Both dogs are reactive for different reasons and are the centre of her world!

In her downtime, Kate indulges in binge-watching Netflix, attending rock gigs, and immersing herself in all things related to dogs. She's also loves hiking and harbours a dream to travel more!
